#3574 - Peanut Butter Clusters

1 - 10oz. bag Reese's peanut butter chips
1 TBSP Crisco shortening
2 cups Planter's salted peanuts

In a microwave safe bowl add the peanut butter chips and the Crisco--microwave on half power for 90 seconds. Stir well. If not completely melted, return to microwave in 10 second increments, stirring in between, until mixture is melted and smooth. Add the peanuts to the melted mixture--stir to mix. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture on to wax paper. Cool completely.

#2215 - Chocolate Butterscotch Tarantulas

1 - 6oz. bag Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 - 6oz. bag Nestle's butterscotch morsels
2 small cans chow mein noodles
1 small can salted peanuts

In a microwave safe bowl add chocolate and butterscotch morsels--microwave on high in 30 second increments and stir until melted and smooth. Add chow mein noodles and salted peanuts--stir to mix. Drop by teaspoonfuls on to wax paper. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.

#1909 - Party Mix

5 cups Cheerios cereal
5 cups Corn Chex cereal
2 cups Planter's salted peanuts
1 - 1lb. bag M&Ms
1 - 10oz. bag mini pretzels
2 - 12oz. bags Nestle's white chocolate bits
3 TBSP canola oil

In a brown paper bag add Cheerios, corn Chex, peanuts, M&Ms, and pretzels--shake bag to mix. In a microwave safe bowl add both bags of white chocolate bits and canola oil--melt in microwave according to bag directions. In a large bowl add some of the Cheerios mixture--pour some of the melted chocolate over the top. Continue alternating Cheerios mixture and melted chocolate until both are used up. Spread the mixture into a single layer on sheets of wax paper. Once cooled, dump the mixture into a paper bag, close the bag and shake to break up any large pieces.

#1322 - Double Sugar Cookies

1 cup softened butter
1 1/3 cups Domino's dark brown sugar (packed)
1 1/3 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 cups Quaker quick oats
1 1/2 cups salted peanuts (chopped)
1 - 6oz. bag Nestle's MINI chocolate bits

In a mixer add butter, brown sugar and white sugar--beat. Add eggs and vanilla--beat. Add baking soda--beat. Add oats and flour slowly--beat. Remove bowl from mixer--add chopped peanuts and mini chocolate bits--stir until mixed. Drop by teaspoonfuls on to greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-12 minutes.

#1179 - Butterscotch Tarantulas

1 - 8oz. bag Nestle's butterscotch morsels
1 small can chow mein noodles
1 cup salted peanuts

In a double boiler (or a microwave) melt the butterscotch morsels--stir until completely melted. Add the chow mein noodles and the peanuts to the melted butterscotch--stir gently until mixed. Cover cookie sheets with wax paper or Saran wrap--spoon tablespoonfuls of the mixture on to the cookie sheets. Let them cool until hardened.
