#3200 - Pineapple 7Up Dessert

1 - 3oz. box lime Jell-O
1 - 12oz. can 7Up soda
1 cup boiling water
1 cup Dole crushed pineapple (drained)
1 - 3oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)

In a bowl add lime Jell-O and boiling water--stir until dissolved. Cool to room temperature. In a mixer add cream cheese--beat. Add room temperature Jell-O mixture--beat. Add drained pineapple and 7Up--beat until mixed. Pour mixture into a glass serving dish. Refrigerate until cold.

#3179 - Dreamy Lemon Lime Cake

1 box Duncan Hines lemon cake mix
1 - 3oz. box lime Jell-O
3/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup ice cold water
1 envelope Dream Whip
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 - 3oz. box Jell-O lemon INSTANT pudding mix

Prepare and bake lemon cake according to box directions in a 9 x 13 cake pan. Cool the cake for 25 minutes after baking. After 25 minutes, use a large meat fork to poke holes all over the cake. In a bowl add the boiling water and lime Jell-O powder--stir until completely dissolved. Add the 1/2 cup ice cold water--stir until mixed. Slowly pour the lime mixture all over the top of the cake so it soaks down into the holes. Refrigerate the cake while making the topping. Topping: in a mixer add Dream Whip powder, cold milk and lemon Jell-O--beat until mixed, then beat on medium speed for 6-8 minutes or until stiff. Remove cake from refrigerator--frost the cake with the Dream Whip frosting. Refrigerate until cold. Keep refrigerated.

#2971 - Hawaiian Salad

1 - 3oz. box lime Jell-O
1 - 3oz. box lemon Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
1 - 20oz. can Dole crushed pineapple (drained)
1 - 5oz. can Carnation evaporated milk (NOT condensed)
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1 cup mayo

In a large bowl add the lime Jell-O powder, lemon Jell-O powder and boiling water--stir with a whisk until dissolved. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then add drained crushed pineapple, Carnation milk, chopped pecans, cottage cheese and mayo. Stir until well mixed. Refrigerate overnight before serving.

#2904 - Lime and Cherry Salad

1 - 3oz. box lime Jell-O
3/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup whipped cream OR Cool Whip
1 small can Dole crushed pineapple (drained)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 small jar maraschinio cherries (drained and halved)

In a bowl add lime Jell-O, boiling water and white sugar--stir until dissolved, then cool to room temperature. Add cottage cheese, whipped cream, drained crushed pineapple and chopped walnuts--stir until mixed. Transfer the whole mixture into a serving dish. Refrigerate until cold. When ready to serve, decorate the top with the drained cherry halves.

#2796 - Sunshine Salad

1 - 6oz. box lime Jell-O
1 - 20oz. can Dole crushed pineapple (drained but save the juice)
2 cups boiling water
1 carrot (grated)
1 cup grated cabbage
1/2 cup finely chopped celery

In a bowl add Jell-O and boiling water--stir until dissolved. In a measuring cup add the saved pineapple juice and add enough cold water for a total of 2 cups of liquid. Add the pineapple juice/water mixture to the hot Jell-O mixture--stir well. Cool mixture to room temperature, then refrigerate until it starts to gel. Remove from refrigerator, add crushed pineapple, grated carrots, grated cabbage and chopped celery--stir to mix. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Refrigerate overnight.

#2643 - Cream Cheese Jell-O Salad

1 - 29oz. can fruit cocktail (drained but save the juice)
2 - 3oz. boxes lime Jell-O
1 - 8oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
2 TBSP milk
1 - 8oz. Cool Whip (thawed)
1 - 3oz. box cherry Jell-O
1/4 cup maraschino cherry pieces (drained)

Place the drained fruit cocktail juice in a saucepan--cook/stir over medium heat until boiling. Once boiling, remove from heat and add both boxes of lime Jell-O--stir until dissolved. Let it cool to room temperature. In a mixer add cream cheese and milk--beat. Remove from mixer--add drained fruit cocktail, maraschino cherry pieces and lime Jell-O mixture--stir until mixed. Add the Cool Whip--stir until mixed. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Refrigerate until cold and set. Prepare cherry Jell-O according to box directions--let it cool to room temperature. Remove lime Jell-O mixture from refrigerator--pour cherry Jell-O liquid over the top. Refrigerate overnight.
