#1395 - Tomato Noodle Casserole

1/2 lb. wide egg noodles
1 chopped onion
1lb. ground chuck
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 - 15oz. and 1 - 8oz. can Hunt's tomato sauce
1 - 8oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 slices of buttered bread (cut into bite sized pieces)

Cook and drain noodles according to bag directions. In a skillet over medium heat add ground chuck, salt, pepper and chopped onions--cook until beef is browned. Add both cans of tomato sauce to the beef--stir, then simmer for 10 minutes. Add cooked noodles to the sauce--stir. Pour entire mixtue into a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Place the buttered bread pieces on top of the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until bread is golden brown.

#1036 - Egg Noodle Tetrazzini

1 1/2 cups water
1 cup milk
1 TBSP butter
3 3/4 cups uncooked wide egg noodles
1 cup frozen peas (thawed and drained)
1 - 10.75oz. can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

In a large saucepan over medium heat add water, milk and butter--stir and bring to a boil. Add dry egg noodles--stir until dry noodles are coated. Add drained peas--stir. Stir and bring back to a boil--turn heat back to simmer and cover with a lid. Simmer about 10 minutes (stir occasionally)--cook until noodles are done to your taste and liquid is almost gone. Remove lid--add soup, chicken pieces and Parmesan cheese--stir and cook until hot enough to serve.

#460 - Sweet Noodle Casserole

1 - 8oz. package wide egg noodles (cooked according to package directions)
1/4 cup softened butter
1 - 8oz. Philly cream cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
4 TBSP white sugar
4 eggs
1 3/4 cups milk

Drain noodles after cooking according to package directions and set aside. In a mixer, beat cream cheese, butter, eggs--add salt, white sugar, milk--blend well. By hand, stir the noodles into the sauce mixture--it will be thin and runny. Pour entire mixture into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
