#2853 - Nutty Sundae Pie

1/3 cup Jif peanut butter
1/4 cup Kayro corn syrup (clear)
2 cups Frosted Flakes cereal (coarsely crushed)
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1 cup Baker's angelflake coconut
1 cup strawberry preserves (NOT jelly)
1 quart good quality vanilla ice cream (slightly softened)
1 - 9" glass pie plate

In a bowl add peanut butter and corn syrup--stir until mixed. Add crushed Frosted Flakes, chopped peanuts and coconut--stir until coated. Use the back of a spoon to press the mixture on the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate. Refrigerate for a few hours until crust is firm. Remove from refrigerator, spread 1/4 cup of the strawberry preserves over the crust. Spoon the softened ice cream over the preserves. Spread the rest of the preserves over the top of the ice cream. Use a butter knife to swirl the preserves through the ice cream. Freeze the pie overnight. Let the pie thaw for 10 minutes before cutting.

#1109 - Crushed Frosted Flakes Cookies

1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter (no substitutes)
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups Frosted Flakes cereal
1 - 6oz. bag Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate morsels (melted according to bag directions)

Place Frosted Flakes into a Ziploc bag--close the bag and crush them coarsely using a rolling pin--set aside. In a mixer add butter and white sugar--beat. Add eggs and vanilla--beat. Add baking soda, salt and flour--beat. Remove bowl from mixer and add crushed Frosted Flakes--stir with a wooden spoon until mixed. Melt chocolate according to bag directions--drizzle the melted chocolate on the top of the cookie batter--use a table knife to swirl the chocolate through the cookie batter. Drop by tablespoonsful of batter on to greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Use a spatula to take the cookies off of the cookie sheets after a minute or two--cool on paper towels.

#718 - Frosted Flake Squares

1 - 7oz. jar Fluff marshmallow
1/4 cup Parkay margarine
1/3 cup Jif peanut butter
7 1/2 cups Frosted Flakes cereal

In a large microwave safe bowl add Parkay and marshmallow--microwave on high for 1 minute and stir. Microwave 30 seconds more and stir--continue in 30 second increments until it's smooth when you stir it. Remove from microwave and add peanut butter--stir until smooth. Add the Frosted Flakes and stir until coated. Grease a 9 x 13 cake pan. Spread entire mixture into the cake pan and press it down with a spoon. Let it cool. When cooled and firm, cut into squares.
