#2432 - Chocolate Coca Cola Cake

1 box Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix
12oz. Coca Cola regular soda (NOT diet)
Frosting: 1 - 3oz. box Jell-O chocolate INSTANT pudding mix; 1 1/2 cups milk; 1 - 8oz. Cool Whip (thawed)

In a mixer add cake mix powder and soda--beat until mixed, then beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely. In a mixer add chocolate pudding mix and milk--beat until mixed, then beat for 1 minutes. Add thawed Cool Whip--beat until mixed. Frost the cake. Keep cake refrigerated.

#2067 - Cola Frosting/Icing

1/2 cup softened butter
3 level TBSP Hershey's cocoa
1/3 cup Coke soda (regular)
1 TBSP vanilla
1 - 1lb. box Domino's powdered sugar

In a saucepan add butter, cocoa and soda--stir/cook over medium low heat until boiling. Once boiling, remove from heat. In a mixer add hot cola mixture and vanilla--beat. Slowly add powdered sugar--beat until smooth. If making a single cake, cut ingredients in half.

#1441 - Coca Cola Roast Beef

1 - 2.5lb. to 3lb. sirloin tip roast
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 can regular Coca Cola (not diet)

Place sirloin tip roast in a Dutch oven. Pour the can of Coke all over the roast, then sprinkle the onion soup mix all over the roast. Place aluminum foil over the top, then place the Dutch oven lid on top of the foil. Bake in the oven at 300 degrees for 3 to 4 hours or until tender.

#500 - Cherry Coke Salad

1 - 20oz. can Dole crushed pineapple (drained--SAVE the juice)
1/2 cup water
1 - 6oz. OR 2 - 3oz. boxes cherry Jell-O
1 - 21oz. can cherry pie filling (we use Musselman's)
3/4 cup Coca-Cola soda
Cool Whip (optional)

Drain the pineapple--set pineapple aside but place pineapple juice in a saucepan with the water. Bring to a boil while stirring. Remove from stove and add the Jell-O mix(es) and stir until dissolved, and while still hot stir in the cherry pie filling and soda. Pour mixture into a serving bowl--when it's cool enough, refrigerate until it starts to gel. Remove from refrigerator and fold in the pineapple. Refrigerate until firm. Top with Cool Whip if desired

#471 - Coca Cola Cake

2 cups white sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup Coca-cola soda
1/2 cup canola oil
1 stick Parkay margarine
4 TBSP Hershey's cocoa
1 1/2 cups small marshmallows
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
Frosting: 3 TBSP Hershey's cocoa, 1 stick butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 6 TBSP Cocoa-cola soda, 1 lb. Domino's powdered sugar, 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

In a saucepan over low heat, add the 1 cup soda, Parkay, canola oil, and 4 TBSP cocoa--stir and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the marshmallows--stir. In a mixer, combine white sugar, flour, salt, and add the hot mixture from the saucepan to the mixer--beat. Add buttermilk and beat until smooth. Add the baking soda and eggs--beat well. Pour batter in a greased and floured 9 x 13 cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Frosting: in a saucepan over low heat, add butter, 3 TBSP cocoa, 6 TBSP soda, and vanilla--bring to a full boil. Remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar. Add the nuts (optional) and stir. When you remove cake from oven, spread the frosting over the hot cake. Cool before cutting.
